Kaladin is just the sweetest little boy! He came to my studio for his simple newborn portraits with a classic color scheme, and he was just adorable in every setup we did. With little smiles and smirks, he definitely stole my heart… and I know he’s stealing his parents’ too! When his mama, Janice, reached out to me – I was just SO happy he had finally arrived! I know they had been anxiously waiting for his big entrance. I just LOVE that so many of my clients have both their maternity and newborn portraits with me. It’s really special to see their family grow and meet the little one who makes the maternity sessions possible.

Simple Newborn Portraits

Newborn sessions don’t have to be over the top to be special. Typically, sessions in my studio are simplistic and classic. I want your images to be timeless and loved for many, many years to come. Honestly, I hope that you pull them out at your little one’s graduation or wedding day and still feel the way you did when you saw them the first time. So when Janice told me she wanted to stick to a simple color scheme of teals and grey, I was in! With accents of white throughout the setups, Kaladin’s portraits look so sweet!

While I do love simple, I also enjoy using a few props so that it’s easy to really see how tiny your little baby is! They don’t stay that way forever. I love how Kaladin fell asleep on our little bed and how sweet does he look in the pail? He was just adorable in every setup – I’m not joking!! I feel so lucky that this is my job and I get to spend days with your babies and families capturing these sweet moments!
