Winter in Utah means you will find me spending a lot of time up in the mountains doing some beautiful snow maternity sessions. The crisp air, the gorgeous winter light, and of course snow that shines like glitter. The one thing I dont love is how short the days are… thank goodness it’s only for a few months.
Ling and her husband Daniel, are expecting a baby boy and wanted to document their pregnancy with a snowy photo session. We picked a few gowns that she had been dreaming to wear at her session and I love her choices! Doesn’t she look beautiful in every one of them?!
I’m so excited to be sharing these portraits with you today!
Winter Maternity Portraits in the Snow
I just LOVE winter maternity portraits. When it’s snows here in the mountains, it’s just gorgeous. And I’m always excited when a couple tells me they’re ready to brave the chilly weather for some dramatic portraits.
One of Ling’s goals for these portraits was also to be able to share with her family and friends that live far and abroad and havent been able to be with them throughout this year and follow their pregnancy. Thank you for trusting me to capture your pregnancy, Ling!
I feel very lucky that I get to work with families from many different backgrounds and to capture their excitement and joy to become parents. I also get to learn so much about their culture, their traditions and any peculiar aspects from their heritage.
As you may know, I am originally from Brazil and moved to the State in 2006. I love traveling the world and learning new about new cultures.
Maternity portraits are a chance to celebrate your pregnancy and your journey to parenthood. This journey is different for everyone, but no less special every time. I feel so honored to celebrate such a beautiful moment with each family that comes to my studio.
