I can’t believe it’s already time for milestone portraits for Zuri! It seems like just yesterday she was here for her newborn portraits. And now, she’s sitting up and smiling like such a big girl! When her parents reached out about setting up studio milestone portraits for Zuri, I was so excited to see this family again. They’re just some of the sweetest and most wonderful people ever!
Studio Milestone Portraits with Pastel Color Scheme
To match her newborn session, we picked a variety of colors and setups in the studio. I love when families want to keep colors cohesive across multiple sessions so they can display the images together with no clashing. It makes it SUPER easy to get your images up on the wall if you know they’re going to look great together! Almost all of Zuri’s session was photographed on my favorite wooden backdrop. But we snuck a few in on a simple white drop, too. Paired with light purples and pinks, they were the perfect combination.
Zuri wasn’t too sure about smiling for me during our milestone portraits, but I get it! Even babies have had a hard time with the last year – they aren’t as used to strangers in their faces as they might have been. We still had a lot of fun trying to get a little smile out of her. And she was cute either way! I’m so happy her parents planned these milestone portraits. It’s a great way too capture your baby’s newest skills and make sure you never forget a moment!
