I absolutely love, love, love when I get to work with families over and over again. But I love even more when my clients share my business with their own family and friends. Alicia, the gorgeous mama in this blog, is actually Angela’s sister! They were both pregnant at the same time, with roughly the same due date. How amazing is that?! Alicia was expecting her second baby at the time of these snowy mountain maternity portraits. We worked together to make this photo shoot very special for her since she hadn’t documented as much of this pregnancy. I always love when families want to create extra special portraits like this!

Snowy Mountain Maternity Portraits

When I talked with Alicia about what she envisioned when she thought about her maternity portraits, she told me snow and the mountains. Oh, and you can’t forget the pine trees!! And, thanks to a beautiful Utah winter, that’s exactly what she got! With a cold winter storm providing a white out snow day, and a beautiful velvet dress, Alicia’s portraits were definitely winter-esque! We even found the perfect fur vests to add onto her winter look. They were just gorgeous against the snow! Alicia chose three gorgeous dresses to wear. I especially love the white lace gown – I think it was a wonderful, elegant touch to her session.
