Baby Charlotte’s Lifestyle Newborn Portraits {Beka Price Photography | Utah Newborn Photographer}

When I met Irene and Clinton for their maternity portraits, I knew I was going to fall in love with them and their family. And, I was SO right! When they let me know Baby Charlotte had made her arrival, I couldn’t wait to meet her. Throughout her pregnancy, Irene and I had been planning Charlotte’s lifestyle newborn session at their home.

Lifestyle Newborn Portraits

Getting to see Irene and Clinton again, and meeting their new baby girl was so special to me. I traveled over four hours to capture their lifestyle newborn sessions. And, it would up being such a perfect session! Charlotte was a beautiful angel for me – sleeping a ton, which allowed me to capture several setups for this sweet family. I loved creating these classic girly setups for Charlotte!!! Having the session at their home meant that everyone was able to be more relaxed and comfortable. Plus, we got some super cute shots of her and Irene in the nursery!! I just loved the chance to capture these lifestyle newborn portraits for Baby Charlotte and her family.

Baby Charlotte’s newborn session reminded me why I do what I do. At the time, none of us knew how sick Clinton was. Unfortunately, before he could see the full set of portraits we captured, or the album or prints, he passed away from a rare blood disease. While all newborn portraits matter – because your baby will never be this little again – this sweet family’s portraits took on another meaning. They will forever serve as a reminder of how loved Charlotte and Irene are by Clinton. My heart still aches for this beautiful family and the loss they’ve suffered. But, I will continue to do what I do best in Clinton’s honor. I hope that all families take the time to document their lives today because we don’t know what tomorrow holds.

Expecting this year? Let’s schedule your maternity [and newborn] portraits!
