How is Olivia one already?! I’ve been photographing this beautiful baby girl since she was in her momma’s tummy. As she’s grown during her first year, her family has brought her into the studio for milestone portraits. So, capturing her classic first birthday milestone portraits was the icing on the cake for me. I still cannot believe she’s one – but I’m so happy we could document this incredible time for her sweet parents!!

Classic First Birthday Milestone Portraits

For Olivia’s milestone portraits, we decided on a simple color scheme. We wanted to keep everything neutral so we could truly focus on this sweet girl and her adorable smile! And, of course, her beautiful red hair. Olivia was absolutely perfect her entire session. She smiled and played on the props I had picked for her. Even when her mom tried to get her to smile near the end, she had a good time. We only had a few tears – and honestly, that doesn’t bother me!! Capturing milestone portraits is all about capturing WHO your baby is when they turn one. It’s such a special journey for you as a family and deserves to be documented.
