Summer time in Utah is probably one of THE best time to get pictures done. For my own family pictures, I only do them during Summer here, and it has worked perfectly for us.

It seems to be a favorite for other mamas too, specially if they are pregnant and want to take advantage of the beautiful scenery up the mountains, with the endless fields of wildflowers.
Albion Basin is a popular spot this time of the year. Every evening during July and August you bet you will find several photographers there doing photo sessions.

I love shooting up there and my clients seem to love it too. A lot of mamas choose to do their maternity sessions at Albion Basin.

The lighting is so beautiful as it is close to the mountains and just golden.

Amanda’s session went perfectly as we reached Albion Basin at the right time. The wildflowers were super in bloom and so colorful. Her husband joined us and I loved seeing their connection.

I am so excited for them as they welcome a baby girl in the next month or so.
