I’m so happy to be sharing Mayda’s gorgeous waterfront maternity portraits with you today. When Mayda’s sister, Sandra, reached out to me about capturing these portraits for her sister, I was absolutely blown away by Mayda’s story and strength. Mayda recently lost her husband and she’s expecting her third baby boy, who will be named after Ty. Despite all of the hardships life has thrown her way, Mayda is a truly beautiful woman and full of joy.

Waterfront Maternity Portraits in Utah

After Sandra connected Mayda and I to start planning the session, I had both ladies come to the studio with me to help figure out what Mayda wanted. We settled on a sunset maternity session along the waterfront. Mayda chose two simply stunning gowns in blue and green for her session. With the GLOWING light, she seriously looked incredible. One of my favorite parts of this job is creating a session that is what my clients envision. Whether it’s a location, the season, or even down to the dress they wear, my job is about documenting YOUR story in a way that’s meaningful to you.

I’m so happy that I create portraits that were everything Mayda hoped for. She decided to also do a newborn session with me, and I can’t wait to meet Baby Ty when he arrives. He is so loved!
