Not very many mamas are as brave and strong like Megan. Winter maternity sessions are hard, but totally worth it. I have to say, she was a trooper considering how cold it was on the day of her maternity session. To stand in two feet of snow and smile at temperatures down in the 10 degrees (Fahrenheit) is not for the faint of heart.
We had first decided to go to Big Cottonwood Canyon, but it was so so cold that day that I decided to find a good spot in the valley. Sugarhouse Park was just perfect for that session. I havent used that location in a while, so it was pretty refreshing to get there again and see the magic happen. Pines covered by snow, pretty white fluffy snow on the ground, and a somewhat quite park (since it was so cold..brrr).
Perfect lighting, perfect snow falling at the perfect time, and absolutely perfect mama and daddy-to-be.
Some clients come my way and I can’t help but wonder how did I get so lucky! I truly enjoyed working with Megan and Matt. I wish them so much happiness in this new journey of parenthood.
When Megan and I met to plan her session, she had told me she wanted a neutral gown and fitted. I knew right away what would be a great pick for her.
Once again, beautiful gown and flower crown by the amazing Sew Trendy Accessories. I am loving the Emerlie gown in bluerain color. I am loving how everything came together. Mama and daddy were glowing, and I know its because they are excited for this baby boy coming to join their family.
Now, enjoy this beautiful session.
xoxo
