Welcome home, Baby West!! This sweet family welcomed their newest member home with a lifestyle newborn session in their beautiful home. It was such an honor to be able to celebrate this moment in their lives. And I’m so obsessed with their portraits! We also put together a studio session for some more traditional posed shots after their photos at home, and I’m thrilled to be sharing both of them with you today!

Lifestyle Newborn Session in Park City

As soon as I walked into their home, I knew I was going to have a great time! This family absolutely LOVES cream tones, neutrals, and their home is simply gorgeous. We started the session in their master bedroom and then moved into their living room. Both were open and relaxing spaces where they could just focus on loving on their new baby girl. I love watching new parents with their babies. There’s nothing like the look on their faces when they realize their baby is with them finally! After such a long wait! We even got a few portraits of their handsome dog, too! Honestly, I’m still in love with this lifestyle newborn session in Park City! It was a dream come true!

The next week, West came into my studio for more traditional posed newborn portraits. Keeping with the neutrals and creams, we kept a simple color scheme to focus on this darling baby girl! It’s amazing how much bigger she already looked after one week. What a good reminder: these babies don’t keep – and these portraits of them in their early days really do matter! I love knowing that these portraits are going to be how my families really remember their sweet little babies years from now!
