I can’t get over how amazing these lakeside maternity portraits were for Sarah. She’s seriously a bombshell of mama – just stunning!! I’m so excited to be sharing them with you today!! Her lakeside maternity portraits were so much fun to plan and capture because she’s just absolutely stunning and was so relaxed our entire session, trusting me to capture this special time for her and her husband, Ken.

Lakeside Maternity Portraits

We lucked out with our night on the lake for her session. Although it was hot, it was so beautiful. The sunset was stunning and it was worth being out there in the heat! Sarah didn’t seem to mind it all though and looked great throughout the entire session, showing off her bump in three gowns. I love that she brought a pop of color to the session with the blue and pink gowns and saved the white, off-the-shoulder gown for the end as the sunset really came to life. She and Ken were so patient, working with me to capture the perfect shot with her gowns and the sunset.

Maternity sessions are always so incredible – it’s one of the times you really get to celebrate your pregnancy and it’s a beautiful way to document your journey to parenthood!
