Welcome to the world, Baby Imani! I’m so happy I had the chance to welcome Imani and her sweet family to the studio for her newborn portraits. Imani is so clearly loved. Her big sister and parents adore her. I even got to meet one of her grandmothers during the session, and she was clearly smitten, too! For Imani’s Indian inspired newborn portraits, we incorporated lots of meaningful details from her family. It was absolutely perfect!
Indian Inspired Newborn Portraits
For Imani’s session, her parents wanted to include many cultural elements. One of the most important items we included was Imani’s mother’s sari. It was the sari she wore on her wedding day and it was so special that they were able to bring it to the studio! I loved using the deep red fabric and creating setups that really showcased their special history.
We also spent a lot of the session focusing on their family portraits. Since Imani’s grandmother was there, we made sure we documented her with her granddaughters. It’s always such a fun time when the extended family gets to come to the studio! What a once in a lifetime moment to capture. I’m so happy I had the chance to capture Imani and her beautiful family!!
Expecting this year? Let’s schedule your dream maternity and newborn portraits!
