I cannot express how much this beautiful winter maternity session for Helena meant to me. Helena and her husband lost their first baby last year and we were unable to capture her pregnancy because of the timing. So, when Helena reached out to me telling me the news that she was pregnant again and wanted to get on my calendar for maternity and newborn portraits, I was so excited for them!
Winter Maternity Portraits in Utah
Her session did not disappoint! After a few portraits in the studio in a stunning white gown, it was time to venture outside! We had a beautiful winter wonderland to work with on the day of her session. She specifically requested for a mountain backdrop and I knew just the right place to go. Snow covered the hills and the trees around us but Helena looked so warm, cozy, and truly glowed! With their dogs Babaloo and Turbo in tow, we began to capture her maternity portraits. Helena looked absolutely gorgeous in the deep red and teal gowns that we chose for her. And with the perfect coat and wrap, her portraits really came to life! I love that they wanted to include their fur babies in such a meaningful portrait session.
Every moment of this maternity session was special and emotional. Not just capturing the portraits, but planning it – and now planning for Baby Gabriel’s newborn portraits too! Helena, I cannot thank you enough for letting me be a part of this special moment for your family. It was such a celebration of you and what’s to come. I can’t wait to meet that baby boy!!
Expecting this year? Let’s schedule your maternity [and newborn] portraits!
