It was so good to see Christine and Alex again, this time with their new bundle of joy! They were in my studio to celebrate the pregnancy with beautiful, empowering custom maternity portraits. And, after that session, I couldn’t wait to see what we dreamed up for their little girl, Baby Zhuri!! We settled on a soft and elegant newborn session for this precious baby girl. It was clear from the moment that the trio entered my studio, just how in love with Zhuri everyone is! I can see why! She was a perfect angel during our session, quiet and letting me capture all the tiny details that make her so sweet!

Elegant Newborn Session in Salt Lake City

Christine and I discussed what color scheme and theme they wanted for Baby Zhuri’s portraits. She said she wanted light pinks and creams, and I think she absolutely made the right choice! This elegant color scheme was just perfect for Zhuri. I loved sorting through my props, wraps, and headbands to find the right ones for this session. Every image is so timeless and classic! I especially love the portraits of Zhuri with her parents. You can tell that she has them wrapped around her finger – and there’s nothing wrong with that!!
