Where do I even begin with Rachael!? This beautiful woman is an incredibly talented interior designer and sophisticated woman. When she approached me about capturing her maternity session, I immediately knew that we’d have to plan a session that matched her skill and personality. Together, we dreamed up truly timeless and classic studio maternity portraits for her. These glamorous maternity portraits might be some of my all-time favorite studio portraits! I’m so excited for you to see them today!!

Classic Studio Maternity Portraits

For Rachael’s portraits, we stuck to three main looks. The first was a classic form fitting black gown. With a deep V-neck and an elegant statement necklace, she looked absolutely stunning! Seriously, I have no idea how these mamas all look SO good during pregnancy! After more portraits in that dress, including one with a fun wide-brimmed hat, we moved onto a stunning gold gown. It was a great pop of color and metallics into her portraits. We finished up with a high-necked sleek black dress. Rachael put her hair into a bun and she looks absolutely gorgeous! Every image had such a classic feel to it. I LOVE these portraits and I hope you do, too!

Maternity portraits should be a reflection of who you are. Honestly, I truly think these classic and elegant portraits reflect who Rachael is as a person. I love incorporating my client’s style, personality, and ideas into their sessions. Creating a customized session is so important to me.
