Oh, Laila! How is this baby girl already 8 months old? I swear she was just in my studio being photographed as a brand new baby. And now, she’s crawling around my studio, playing with her doll, and giving me the best big smiles. I love photographing milestone sessions for my newborns. It’s so fun to see their new skills and how they’re growing up! Laila’s classic 8 month milestone portraits were such a joy and I can’t wait for you to see them today! 

Classic 8 Month Milestone Portraits 

If you can’t tell from the photos below, Laila is the happiest baby ever. She was so much fun during her portraits. We picked out two outfits and setups for this sweet little girl and she loved them both. We began with her in the cutest little dress – I love the butterflies on the top! Laila was able to crawl around and climb on the little bed I set out. She wouldn’t stop smiling, and I’m so grateful. You never know how little ones will do. Afterwards, we put her in a simple onesie on a pale yellow backdrop. Laila wanted to play with her baby doll, and it was just so cute! I was all about it. We wrapped up her session letting her play and before I knew it, it was time to say goodbye.

Milestone sessions are all about capturing your baby’s personality. Bring their favorite outfits or toys… whatever makes them laugh and smile is always a great idea. Parents always ask if they should plan for milestone sessions or not, and I’m definitely on team milestone session! Your baby grows SO MUCH in the first year of life. These portraits help freeze time a little bit for you and your family. If Laila’s portraits don’t convince you to think about milestone sessions, I don’t know what will!
